The pictures are from the mid 80s so are already historic. The fact that at the moment most tradespeople use cars and vans doesn't mean they'll always be able to. Once the oil's gone there'll be no choice - it's the ones that start making the changes NOW that will thrive. The dinosaurs will go to the wall.
