Sorry for the few day's silence - haven't been too well.
As a treat (because I was sickly) I got some sweets and the current Railway Modeller. And there on page 438 is an excellent article on an N gauge model of the station, which captures the atmosphere very well, even if it's all a little too tidy!

Perhaps a model like that would be a nice touch for a display at Midford, maybe in an old good van on a piece of track. Or in the station building. Models attract everyone attention, young and old alike. I have a N-guage 7F i've never finished. Perhaps the chance to show it off would be an insentive...
