Tom and I will be forming a work party at Midford this Sunday, 8 January (2012). We'll be looking to clear more of the top bank above the platform. Any assistance appreciated. Bow saws and loppers recommended
Cleared a bit more of the bank over the platform. Luckily I don't suffer from altitude sickness as we were rather high up on the slippery face.
Loads of passers by today with positive comments.
Got to try out my new leaf blower, it made light work of clearing the station foundations, the platform , gutter and the cycleway. Ran out of fuel 20 feet from Long Arch bridge.
Should be headed back to Midford two weeks today (22nd). More clearing of the bank to do, fortunately it is getting less steep.
