gardens ...
Midsomer Norton was always famous for its flowers and gardens - there was even a greenhouse on site, which will be rebuilt. Some of the flowers in the beds today have reseeded over the decades from the flowers in the pre-'closure' gardens. Now it's warming up a few volunteers are hard at work with the beds and hanging baskets.

Hi, my name's Robin, I'm a student at Bath Spa university and I've just joined the Trust. I intend, in between studies, to cycle down to Midsomer Norton to volunteer. Although I'm really into helping relay track more than anything, whilst that's not going on I should add that I'm a gardener, and ran my own business for 4 years before I started university.
I'd also like, if possible, to assist with the magazine, as I've got writing skills (had two articles published in 'The Ecologist' back in 1998) and would like to learn something of how a magazine is put together.
Hope this is of some help.
I'm contactable via email at robinthedruid@hotmail.co.uk
Cheers
Robin
