fuel economy
Offered with little in the way of comment - and as a little add-on to today's earlier post, when we're looking at fuel efficiency in the future hopefully we'll take into account the comparitive fuel efficiency of the Parry People Mover over other, less modern, forms of transport! The ability to move 50 people 15 miles on just a gallon of fuel is very impressive!

Seeing as I seem to have become the default S&D bicycle nut, just thought I'd chuck in a piece of useless information I was once given that a litre of petrol contains the equivalent calories consumed by a cyclist over 1000 miles (1600km). (Which may well be true but the stuff tastes horrible.)
The PPM may well be economical... albeit only along fixed routes...
Give me fixed routes any day over our decaying road network that's now in terminal decline!
